Metal roofs and roof leaks are almost synonymous. So how does the property owner solve and prevent this pesky problem without huge expenditure and damage to property? 1、Basal surface treatment

1） Clean the base until it is clean,dry,free of oil stains, dust or other loose parts. If the basal surface is rusted, it can be sprayed with special purpose interface treating agent matched with XINIUPI self-fusion type special multifunctional protective membrane, rust removal treatment for the rusty area,and the rusted-out areas/parts should be repaired or replaced.

2)Clean the gutter to ensure smooth drainage of the roof, such as serious corrosion damage, can be replaced as a whole.

3.）Correct or replace metal tiles with serious deformation.

2、Joints strengthening

If necessary, the roof ridge flood board, tile overlapping joint, cornice, gutter, fan base,

lighting belt and other detailed nodes to strengthen treatment.

3、Large-scale installation

1） Lay parallel to the ridge (eaves) from low to high.

2）The protective membrane should be firmly bonded to the base surface.

3） The overlapping should follow the direction of the water flow,and the overlapping

width should not be less than 60mm.

4、After-installation protection

When the installation is completed, if heavy objects are piled-up on the top or other

operations are carried out, protective measures should be taken to avoid damage to the

protective layer.
